What a guest doesn’t want is some cheapy, plastic, POS that they will either lose or will find its way into the trash before they even get home. Luckily, we have done the research and have a handful of items that will please pretty much every party guest.
5 Baby Shower Favor Ideas That Don’t Suck
1)Reusable Tumbler with Straw
First on the list is something that your guest can use every single day, and it comes in pretty much every color imaginable. So if you don’t just want Pink or Blue favors, this is definitely an option for your shower favors.
Everyone drinks each day – whether it is just water, or add in iced coffee, tea, juice, or soda, this reusable cup with a straw will be something that your guest will use every day and have for a long time.

Dress them up with tulle or a tag…or just have them fly solo! A great way to save money because you don’t need to make it look special or like something someone would want…it already is!

2) (Nice) Nail Polish
Yes, nail polish sometimes can be a seen at a baby shower, but is it the stuff that will chip after 2 hours?! A great option is to do mini nail polish…because I don’t know about you, but it is RARE that I use all of my nail polish up before it dries out…even if it is a $12 bottle of OPI or something even more expensive..
This set right here comes with 15 mini nail polish bottles, all different colors, so it really gives a variety for the guest to choose from! You could get 3 or 4 sets of them and still not have paid more than $100!
Another idea for these minis is to double up with the bottles and maybe throw in a cute nail file, wrap it up in a clear bag and a ribbon color of choice!

3) Mini Champagne or Wine Bottles to Open When Baby Arrives (/Mom “Pops”)
Who doesn’t love a drink on special occasion? Well have your guests partake in the blessed event when it actually happens by having them toast to your new baby in the comfort of their own home…with a mini bottle you provided them at the shower!
Now, if you don’t drink or just want everyone not to drink so the mom-to-be doesn’t feel left out, you could also do mini apple cider bottles:
or pick whatever your favorite champagne or wine is and find mini versions of them at Total Wine, Bevmo, or your favorite grocery store!
Slap a fun label on it that says something like “Pop when Mom Pops!” or whatever other silly slogan you can think of!
4) Mini Succulents
Not only will they not want to throw this away, they can display it in their home, or their front/backyard and will be reminded of the thoughtful gift you give them each time they walk passed them.
Succulents are cute and easy to care for, even someone who can’t even remember watering a plant once a week can keep a succulent alive. They require very little watering and will live a long time.
Check out your local garden center (i.e. Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Walmart, or mom and pop garden store) for a ton of succulent options. OR, you can have them shipped to you by Amazon in bulk!
Wrap with a bow or slap a fun custom label on the succulent container and you are good to go!
5) Jade or Rose Quartz Rollers
What better way to thank your guest than give them a gift that they can pamper themselves with?!
